New tool for live video and sport production with Live Media Server, the multiformat player and recorder of the LiveXpert line, showcased on 3D Storm stand 7.K21.

3D Storm, distributor of NewTek and LiveXpert products will showcase the complete line of LiveXpert tools for live video and sports productions in Hall 7 Stand K21, including the brand new LiveMedia Server.

LiveMedia Server, the latest addition to the LiveXpert range of tools, is a multichannel and multiformat player and recorder. The system supports the larger range of audio and video codec in the market, both in Standard and High Definition with built-in up/down conversion and aspect ratio adjustment per clip.

The function “Play While Rec” of LiveMedia Server is easy to manage. Users can add a file to any play playout channel while this file is still being recorded.

LiveMedia Server range includes 2 models: one dual channel in 1RU unit and one 4 channels in a 4RU unit. Selection of inputs and outputs is flexible, allowing configuration of any channel as recorder or playout. Live Media Server can externally controlled supporting SonyTM RS-422/VDCP protocols and GPI triggering. It can also be controlled from control surface from JLCooperTM. LiveMedia Server integrates control over video mixers and TriCaster from NewTek. Live Media Server is the ideal solution for news productions, talk shows, exhibitions, events...
